"A work horse of the Central of Georgia’s 1950s freight car roster, boxcars in the 7300-8299 series (1,000 cars) were delivered by Pullman-Standard in 1953. Starting In 1937, the Central of Georgia dressed up its standard box car paint scheme by adding a white monogram to both car sides... This paint scheme remained standard for the next seventeen years."
