HISTORICAL NOTES In the early 1990's, Mike McCormick of Crown Model Products designed and produced a small custom run of Wellsville, Addison & Galeton (WAG) single sheathed boxcars. These cars quickly sold out and are seldom, if ever, seen on the secondary market. When Buffalo Creek Graphics purchased the decorating assets of Crown Model Products (CMP) in 2002, we acquired the original files on these and many other early CMP products. The original tooling for the Crown Models single sheathed boxcar was based on the Boston & Maine (B&M) 71000 and 72000 series cars because that is who the WAG bought its 500 cars from. Essentially, these "new" Buffalo Creek Graphics cars are re-runs of the original Crown Models issue but with the features outlined above.
