On May 14, 2005, a small group of interested parties met at Cleveland State University (CSU) and formed a new rail society dedicated to the Litchfield & Madison Railroad (L&M). The Litchfield & Madison Historical Society is open to anyone with an interest in the L&M, or who would like to learn more about this fascinating railroad and its connections with its parent roads.
To commemorate the formation of the Society, Buffalo Creek Graphics has released a set of three cars as were used to serve the coal mining industry. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of these cars will be donated to the Litchfield & Madison Railroad Historical Society.
